The machines are collected by the Directiva2006 / 42 / EC, posted the 17 may of 2006 and by which it repeals the Directive 98 / 37 / EC starting from the 29 December of 2009.
Directive 2006/42/EC on machine safety, applies to the following products:

- Security components
- Accessories for lifting
- Chains, cables and straps
- Devices removable from transmission mechanical
- Quasi machines
To be able to market and put into service the machines, These should be provided of a EU Declaration of Conformity, established by the manufacturer or his authorized representative established legally in the European Union, in accordance with the Annex IIA of the directive, and of the CE Marking, which will be the sign visible of its conformity with the directives relevant.
