The acquisition of the Spanish business group dedicated to offering comprehensive inspection services, Engineering & Safety, strengthens TÜV Rheinland's activities in the field of voluntary services, focused on non-regulatory markets / Burotec is present throughout the value chain of any industrial process, from the design phase to the commissioning and delivery of equipment and installations / Expansion of TÜV Rheinland's service portfolio in Spain and beyond.
Madrid, Spain, 2 October 2023. TÜV Rheinland, as part of its strategy to strengthen its services focused on non-regulatory markets, has acquired Burotec, an international company headquartered in Madrid, offering comprehensive technical services, Turnkey quality control, Product Inspection & Technical Audit, Supervision of occupational and industrial safety services, Engineering and project management in any country in the world. The acquisition was completed on 27 September of 2023, with TÜV Rheinland Holding S.L assuming the role of acquirer and sole shareholder.
Burotec provides comprehensive technical services to companies around the world. Burotec's experts are involved in the entire value chain of any industrial process from the design phase, Initial planning through to implementation, Start-up, & Completion, Delivery of equipment and facilities. The acquisition is in line with TÜV Rheinland's growth strategy, especially in the energy and environment sectors. The transaction significantly expands and strengthens TÜV Rheinland's portfolio of services in Spain and offers new growth prospects in the local non-regulatory inspection market.
